sunday was a weird day.
I dont know whether to feel happy or sad. ARGH. anyway. ONE word to describe the medicine essay test. BAD. ARGHHHHH.. cant really remember the question, but it was about ".. good professional behaviour in medical students..." and there were 3 parts to it. I stunned. like, WHAT THE HELL. Ayoz. 800 odd people turned up. For 200 places. thats like SHIT. All the crème de la crème. anyway. Eugene wrote 6 BLOODY PAGES!! like, HUH!?!?!?? I DONT EVEN WRITE THAT LONG IF I HAVE ONE WEEK TO WRITE THE ESSAY!!!! ...................GP STINKS.
Anyway. Met up with so many VJ people there. I saw Mary's friend (cant remember name), Greg, Yao Long, Wai Jia, Ching Joo, Phoebe (whom i totally couldnt recognise. I was staring right through her), Zeya, Si Min, Cui Xi, Terrence, Ng WeiLiang, Priyanka,... ... u get the point. Already knew ZhiPeng and Tze Yang were going there.
And I must *SALUTE* our SC vice president - Wai Jia... I always thought she was capable. And i still remain firm that she should have been SC pres instead of.. ... anyway. That girl took her own money, found her own contacts, flew to Nepal ALONE for 5 weeks to help orphanages there!! OH MY GOONDESS.. that is REALLY REALLY noble!! So zai!! People like her will SURELY get in. the PASSION for helping people is evident for her. ME? er... i do help people i know. But will i specially go all out to help strangers in need? SURE! if i'm approached. BUT SHE!!! THAT IS PROACTIVITY!!
So there i was. Feeling down amongst all the walking brains around. Then i proceeded for RITZ APPLE STRUDEL at bukit timah... YAY!! FOOD. i get HIGH with FOOD!! WHOOHO. ordered DURIAN STRUDEL. MWAHAHAHA.. so sinful. Later i ordered summore custard pastry. WAHAHHAHAHA.... yumyummyYUM!!
Yin Yee called. Beckoned us to her house to eat MUSHROOM STEAMBOAT with LOTS OF MUSHROOOMS and lots of BEEF!! OHH YEAHHHH.. HAHA.. get the point? food makes me HIGH!! So in a nutshell, i ate LOTS yesterday. Also had a little bit of Ben and Jerry's Choc Chip Cookie Dough (or SOMETHING LIKE THAT), and SKI strawberry Yoghurt and WATERMELON!! Yin Yee was telling me to go work in her clinic. PERFECT!! i GOT MYSELF ANOTHER JOB!! hahaha...especially during the june hols.. i can WORK!! yayness. But the downside - travel to Jurong everyday. GROAN. Oh well.. GROW UP ALREADY.
Went home, i opened the letter box to see an NTU envelope!! oH MY GOODNESS... i got so nervous.... like getting back a progress report slip. and OHHH YEAHHH!! I GOT THE DOUBLE DEGREE COURSE FOR BIOMED/TCM!!! ohyeahohyeah.... at first i was so scared.. coz nick said that his friend got called up about the TCM course.. then i didnt get called up.... PHEW.. now thats a great sigh of relief. If i dont get into med, (which is super tough now..) at least i can still PRACTICE MED. but chinese med. HAHA... look forward to the accupunctures and diagnosis, but not to the language problem. OH MAN. hope i can cope with the extreme chinese standard.
