first post from melbourne
one word. COLD. HAHA... wearing at 3 layers when i get outta house now. And in the houes i wear thick socks + nice FLUFFY SHOES... HAHa.. they're so cute i cant stand it. Marge is apparantly unafraid of the cold. ... ... ... FINE i'm lousy.
So.. we left singapore on the 12 of may. QF 0010 at 1945 hours. Apart from mom n dad who sent me off, a small group of YEP ppl were there! Ivy, YaFen, Qian Xiu, (SY)^2 [aka Sook Yee & Shi Yun] =)..... heheh.. really nice of them to pop by n say hi/bye.
The plane ride was 6.5 hours long. Well, butt was sore. Kept trying to wriggle butt. still sore. ... ... ... And there was inflight entertainment! so glad. Wanted to watch transamerica, but it was only available for FirstClass n BusinessClass. DARN. Oh well. I'll wait for the trip back home to watch BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN!! WHOOHO!!!
And i actually brought my glove n ball over. Coach said :" You better bring a bat over and swing arh! and do your push ups n sit ups. Come back n play for SIA. " Gulps. ok. I dont mind. Batt?? no bat. my bat at home is for decorative purpose. So i brought my stinky glove.
SO happy when i got to see kai ma n kai pa... Havent seen her in 6 mths.. havent seen him in 1.5 years!! ARGHHH! crazy. Love them to bits. We got off the plane at 0440 melbourne time. Reached the house at 5.30 am or something. HAHA.... We came n woke the 2 boys up. Talked for long time... ... then i started dozing off. HAHA.. napped till 1pm, then went to a local mall. BIG. but expensive stuff. (Eg: Mango tank top i got in S'pore =S$13. Here, Au$14.95. )(Eg2: Complete contacts soln: S$23, Au$32.90) HAHA.. so i think we shall leave all the shopping to the direct factory outlet. =) YEAH. Ate subway for dinner. I dont eat subway in singapore so i cant compare. Well. think the subways here should be better. Always hear that singapore subway stinks. ... ??
TODAY. 14/5/06 : HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! darn.. not at home to wish my mom...hope she had a happy day!! But i got to wish kai ma a happy mom's day. =) We drove off at 8am in the mornining today... to Philip Island...Supposed to visit the penguins. But coz of the timing and rain, (AND COST) we didnt see them. Went to many scenic areas though. Like the nozzies (GREAT seaview and hill view. but DAMN cold. the sea breeze. BRRRR....), Koala conservation area... ( FUNNY PICTURES/ SIGNS. and i got so close to the koala. walked together with it for a distance. that was the most active koala. The rest were lazily sleeping in the trees. ) The San Remo place, where we got to see pelicans being fed. Lots of sleeping in the car. And uncle KT almost fell asleep while driving us back!! ARGHH!! i saw his eyes closing from the rearmirror. Kinda like how i struggle to keep awake during lessons, but cant. BUT THATS NOT THE POINT. Its DANGEROUS. Falling asleep during lessons? er... no matter. can catch up somehow. So i gave him a Revitalising Ah Gong massage. And WHALA. he woke up. YEAHYEAHYEAH. i'm pro. =)
Its going to be self exploring in the city tmr. Taking train alone, roaming about with a map. Marge n i alone. HEHe.. how exciting!! =) and looks like marge has already blended in well with my family here. GREAT! Lotsa pictures. not available yet though. Waiting for the USB cable.
